Tessellations

Our project for the 4th grading period is about tessellations. We will create Escher-like tessellations.

There will be tutorials on how to create tessellations.

The transformation concepts of translation, reflection, and rotation will also be discussed.

Tutorials on tessellations can be downloaded at the school computer lab—including the rubrics.

Meanwhile, here are some links for additional information and tutorials on tessellations. Don’t forget to visit M. C. Escher’s and Marjorie Rice’s websites.
